How Someone Makes An Impact
I decided to participate in Ken McArthur’s recent post. I’ve met Deremiah, but more importantly, I know that extraordinary people like him are abound.

I have one person whom I believe to be extraordinary. Her name is Jacklyn Ker. She’s a student of my long-term coaching program, but already is a six-figure passive income earner from her current health business, and has become a close friend because of the contact we have made these past years.
Compiling 101 Twitter Resources
Hey everyone, I decided that I’d compile Twitter Resources. I noticed that Steven Snell blogged this, but there are a few on the list that is missing:
www.TwitterDeck.com - desktop application by Adobe. Can queue your posts if Twitter is down.
www.Twhirl.com - a desktop Twitter application.
www.Ping.FM - social submission aggregator
www.FriendFeed.com - posts Tweets on Facebook and other feeds.
www.TweetLater.com - auto accepts friends and schedules posts for future use.
www.Flock.com - a social browser that a Mac can use.
Additional Social Media Tools
Tools here include:
GetOutFoxed.com
TwitterBar
ScribeFire
Shareaholic
This is from Brad Fallon’s blog that shares how these are trends associated with browsers eventually turning Web 2.0. I like them becasue they will add more to my productivity!
Additional Social Aggregator: Profilactic.com
OKay… so we are talking about numbers and mass marketing again?
ThePuck talks about the New FriendFeed Killer. In my opinion, the fact that there are more and more social sites with the need to log-in and/or register for them truly makes socializing a very, very tiring thing.
It’s almost like going to every pub or club every night and trying to make friends… not only will you be boozed out, you’d have very little meaningful social contact. I suppose if this is an attempt to mimick real social contact, it would mean we need more skills socially than to have more accounts to set up.
More Plurkers On The Way?
TwisterMC wrote about Plurk as well, outlining the advantages of Plurk over Twitter. Thomas also outlined some useful Plurk Resources:
Plurkerati - Tracking Plurkers and a nice Plurk search.
Plurkable - Plurk news & tips.
Plurktionary - All things Plurk.
Plurkular - Plurk news, apps, plurkers and more.
Also, more reviews on Plurk here.
There’s also a PlurkCast happening. It promises to have a lot more information and fun stuff happening in the Plurkiverse. Geez… seems like I’ve stepped into a completely new universe, and this, in my opinion, is extremely intriguing.
