Doug Hudiburgh Shares My UStream.TV Video…

July 10, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment

It’s interesting to know how I can still pack a punch from a distance.

Doug Hudiburgh, whom I met on Twitter, is goes through what many small business owners on and offline are experiencing, with a small exception: Dough is actually planning and going places. I’ve taken a look at a couple of the sites he owns, and obviously, its easy to tell that he’s got a lot of things together. It’s just a process of thinking and moving ahead that tends to get people wondering “am I doing the right thing”. Most of the time, from a fellow entrepreneur to another, we don’t really know what the heck we are doing. We just jump in with our hearts and minds open, and cross our fingers.

Not a very good strategy, in my opinion!

So what exactly is going to help low to mid 6-figure businesses get to the 7-figure mark?

Hmm! That’s what I talked about for about… oh 2 hours. Check out the video!

Internet Reputation Management Primer

June 26, 2008 by admin · 5 Comments

To be perfectly honest, I don’t always visit blogs belonging to every internet marketing guru. However, there are exceptions to the rule, and that include some of my closer friends like Ken McArthur and Simon Leung. Recently, Ken wrote about being attacked on the internet. Well, if Jeremy “ShoeMoney” Schoemaker (who happens to be particularly well known in the affiliate marketing world - I’ve heard of him since 2006) calls someone like Ken a spammer, and John Chow (another 5-figure a month blogger) a “whiner” (tongue in cheek, really - my humble opinion), I think begs a question about what you do if and when someone attacks you online.

Outsource Failure: The Real Reasons

I was just having a chat with my buddy Simon Leung about why some credible internet marketers fail to deliver on their “turnkey” products, even though they received money from their customers and couldn’t produce the goods.

I know a large number of people who are in the “turnkey product” market, and it sells really well. The trouble with this market is simple - few people are able to handle the demand, and they think that they can outsource the entire set of projects to other people easily. That’s probably going to be the last mistake they make!

I was wondering why… everywhere I travel, I tend to bring the storm with me.

Conversations With Father of Guerilla Marketing, Jay Conrad Levinson

June 12, 2008 by admin · 3 Comments

It’s funny what a sunny morning in Florida can do for you. I’ve got my laptop, just fresh out of bed, had a chance to talk to my wife Kloudiia, and it’s the final day I have at Jay Levinson’s place… and I really want to get so much more out from our conversations!

I’d realized that there are many interesting things that I’ve learnt over the last two days that has taught me a lot, not just in the ’strategies’ or ‘tips’, but simply learning from the way Jay leads his life. It’s definitely not a science, but it is a breath of fresh air amid all the techniques that are taught out there. It’s not the techniques, from what I see - it’s your way of being.

Leadership - The Missing Ingredient in Your Online Business

I finally stumbled upon something of a blinding flash of the obvious. In the Internet marketing community, there is a distinct difference between those who get ahead quickly, versus those who don’t. And the fact behind this phenomenon stems from one’s ability to display leadership.

You see, so many Internet marketers who are online have been doing fairly well on the Internet as far as affiliate marketing is concerned and small level profiting. However, there are those who aren’t doing well which constitute well over 70% of the Internet marketing population in my opinion. There’s always someone who’s losing money or making the wrong decisions or buying the wrong products.
