Doug Hudiburgh Shares My UStream.TV Video…

It’s interesting to know how I can still pack a punch from a distance.

Doug Hudiburgh, whom I met on Twitter, is goes through what many small business owners on and offline are experiencing, with a small exception: Dough is actually planning and going places. I’ve taken a look at a couple of the sites he owns, and obviously, its easy to tell that he’s got a lot of things together. It’s just a process of thinking and moving ahead that tends to get people wondering “am I doing the right thing”. Most of the time, from a fellow entrepreneur to another, we don’t really know what the heck we are doing. We just jump in with our hearts and minds open, and cross our fingers.

Not a very good strategy, in my opinion!

So what exactly is going to help low to mid 6-figure businesses get to the 7-figure mark?

Hmm! That’s what I talked about for about… oh 2 hours. Check out the video!

Scalability And Sustainability

This video was a 15 minute session I decided to do while waiting for lunch to take place. It was interesting that I had a few concepts that could stir ideas for you. First one is the one thing that affects everyone - product and service offerings. Are you offering your service or product right? Most probably… not!

Internet Marketing Strategy: Build Your Product Funnel? WRONG!

I did a presentation at JVAlert Live in Philadelphia, which circulated around the concept of a “developmental funnel”. Most people think of a funneling process of getting a foot in the door and using ebooks to front it. Or a free report. Or something like that.

Think again!

Well, based on businesses that focus on the lifetime value of the customer, we should not be looking at that kind of funnel. Why? because you will never be able to sustain traffic if you are just targeting one segment of the market. If you target all age ranges, you, at least, will be able to handle their life problems for them, giving them solutions every step of their life. Talk about having a customer for life!

Not only that - if you have a developmental strategy, you will have people from the upper end of the spectrum recommending people at the lower end of the spectrum. They would say -”when I was in your situation, I went to ___”. Hopefully, that blank would be your name!

Couple of accolades came from people I didn’t expect. James Lee, for instance, gave me this glowing testimonial. You can see that the kind of things I talk about are not just for people who want to get a business strategy, but to have a powerful integration of these strategies.

If you want to get more out of your business, you are going to have to build for yourself a long-term, sustainable business that will have you out of it. How can you create a developmental sales funnel? Well, look at your business and ask yourself the following questions:

1. when people first encounter problems in a niche, what do they want?
2. when they get a little older, what else within this niche do they want?
3. after they are acquainted with this niche for several months or years, what else are their needs?

Start finding out more about their needs and what you have to do in order to serve your customers for life.
